Job Title: Regional Sales Manager/Director
Description: Wikia is searching for a talented Regional Sales Manager/Director to join the team. As the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing existing advertising business and for generating new business for Wikia in the Midwest (Chicago, Detroit through Texas) territory.
Responsibilities include:
* Build, manage and optimize personal relationships with agency and clients via in-person meetings, emails and phone calls.
* Work with existing and potential gaming and consumer clients to determine business needs and formulate successful integrated marketing and sales solution strategies.
* Set territory sales agenda including; prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars.
* Respond to RFPs and develop original promotional ideas at the client and agency level.
* Actively cover the Midwestern region, and work closely with a focused sales team in creating original, strategic proposals/presentations that meet and exceed the needs of clients/agencies.
* Conduct regular analysis of territory including "big picture" forecasts.
* Complete regular call reports to update sales management on account activity.
* Maintain territory revenue forecast.
This person will live in the Chicago metropolitan area. Qualified candidates will have 5 to 10 years of professional advertising sales experience.
